Groovy Giftables ® Egg crate trays are made using materials such as cement concrete and colorants. This egg storage holder can fit half a dozen eggs (6 eggs) per tray. Measures approximately - 5.5 in x 3.75 in x 1.5 in. Low profile sturdy trays that work equally great for the fridge or counter. Use to store boiled eggs in the fridge, eggs while cooking, or on your counter to show off your farm fresh collected eggs. This item will be sealed to repel stains and liquids. We use a food-grade, non-toxic, wax blend that includes beeswax and carnauba, with antimicrobial lemon and orange extracts. Sealing can cause the color of the concrete to be slightly darker than when it remains unsealed. The wax sealant also gives a beautiful polish to the items. Wipe spills, and if needed hand clean with mild soap and water, and dry thoroughly. We take great care and pride in creating each item. It is important to note concrete is a natural rustic material. There can be variances in smoothness and texture, small bubbles or voids that occur as the concrete cures, and color variations as pigment colors and concrete materials meld throughout. Please know that this is part of what makes each piece truly unique during the handmade process. Concrete is very strong but not indestructible, if dropped it can chip or break.
