Wooden bases made so houses easily slide into place and stand on their own. Both sides of displays are black. Flameless candles are recommended (not included) *Please Note*** Some pieces are delicate so care is needed when handling them. *Item is cut using a laser, the edges are burned therefore, there may be some black residue left and a slight odor after we clean them. The edges will be black from the burning process. **As with every wood item, each piece will be different and can have small defects of cracks, knots, or blemishes. Stain/paint color and engravings can also very slightly due to the characteristics of the wood. Paint can be a little tacky/sticky. Avoid placing sides directly on top of each other when storing.
