Just in time for fall projects comes some corespun rug yarn in fall colors. This yarn started out as an experiment which turned out to be VERY time consuming so I shifted to the bulkier yarn so there are only 3 unrepeatable skeins. You will be able to create a completely unique project. This yarn is spun around a 100% polyester core made of 2 strands of sewing thread. Because the fiber around the core is not spun tightly enough to add strength to the yarn - as such this yarn is NOT going to be suited for anything requiring any more tension than you could apply to sewing thread (so probably NOT for a WARP in a weaving project). This yarn is made from remnants of many different wools/fibers as well as wool dyed in small lots (such as for demonstrative purposes at Ag in the Classroom), etc. Primarily wool, but may contain small amounts of mohair & alpaca. None of the fiber is super-wash, so it can also be used for felting. 25 yards per bundle.
