These elegant booties come in a variety of color combinations - some more traditional, some less so. As seen in the photos, some of them have plain border trims and some have a more frilly trim. All have a chain st shoelace to allow for adjustment and tightening and each end of the shoelace is finished with a tassel - both as an accent and to keep the lace from easily pulling out of the shoe. These booties have a sole of 3 1/2" - which (depending on which chart you look at it) basically corresponds with a US size 1 OR 3wks - 3months size shoe. Carefully hand-crocheted with attention to detail and finishing. 100% acrylic. While hand washing and air drying is recommended to make sure the tassels don't fray (and to prevent pilling of yarn - which will occur when machine washing/drying ANY items made from yarn), machine washing and drying will not damage the structure or strength of the shoe.
