"Big Al & Skittles" is a 10" x 8" art print based on one of my coloured pencil originals. It is mounted on a 3/8" wooden stretcher bar and is gallery-wrapped, meaning the image also bleeds onto the sides. This is the type of mounting used in high-end museums and galleries all around the world. I originally painted this image based on a challenge set forth by Colored Pencil Magazine for a competition. I was fascinated by the sheen on the wooden bird figurines, the wooden table, and the iron texture of the candleholder and I'm always looking for ways to challenge my eye and abilities. I didn't win or even place, but to this day this is still one of my favourite paintings and I get so many compliments on it at art shows. This print would be perfect as a housewarming gift, mother's day gift, or even just a gift for any old time, just because. This print is part of a limited-edition print series that are numbered, and includes the Certificate of Authenticity. Returns will ONLY be accepted for damage during shipping.
