Let me take that pile of T-shirts or clothes that you can't bear to part with and turn them into a useful quilt that you can use forever! For a Full/Double size quilt that measures approximately 78"x87" requires 20- 25 T-shirts or items of clothing. You can choose to have plain fabric borders ($610) on your quilt or the more elaborate borders constructed of smaller squares all around the outer perimeter ($645). All T-shirts/clothing are stabilized using the highest quality cotton stabilizer to remove the stretching quality of the T-shirt and give it extra durability creating an heirloom quality quilt. All quilts are made using 100% cotton quilting fabric and thread. I DO NOT use synthetic fabrics such as Polyester or Fleece fabrics for the backing of these quilts. I am happy to use Cotton Flannel upon request! I use the highest quality cotton batting inside my quilts and use an all over meandering top stitch and double binding method to finish the quilt.
