"Furball" is a hard-carved eraser print depicting a sleepy cat in a tight little circle. The black-and-white print measures 2-3/4 inches in diameter, and the paper including borders is 4x4-1/2. Eraser prints are just like traditional linoleum or wood block prints, except that an eraser is the carved block instead. For this print, I used a round novelty eraser, and in my brainstorm of round things, I remembered the way my cat sleeps in a tiny circle and knew that was what I had to carve. The prints come signed, titled and editioned by hand and sealed in a clear plastic sleeve for protection. They will be shipped in a letter envelope, unless purchased with a larger product.
