We use trial and error to make sure these fit perfectly and are fun to paint, assemble, and decorate! **This comes UNFINISHED only, we do not paint this kit. We leave the fun of painting it to you. ** The one without the stand does not stand on it's own. Order the one with stand for table top displays. If you choose "No Stand", you'll receive the back piece that doesn't include the "bar" that's attached to the bottom of the back piece and the "bases". Painting: We typically use spray paint and acrylic craft paints for all of our crafts. We love using fine point paint pens for details and thicker point paint pens for more coverage. Chalk paints work wonders too and gives it a chalky, matte look to it your crafts. MDF has a smooth surface so it's one of the best materials for painting in our opinion. Gluing/Attaching: We use either Gorilla Super Glue or Starbond Super Glue. We love using Starbond because the Starbond kit comes with fine tip applicators for tiny items, perfect for our crafts that have tiny pieces. Just a tiny drop of either of these glues will adhere the pieces securely. Just apply some pressure to let the super glue set for about 10 seconds. It's fast drying.
