These flat, wood, stud earrings are handmade from dyed dark gray, golden brown, and natural birchwood. My husband (an accomplished woodworker) cuts them out and I sand them using 3 different grits of sandpaper. I then seal them with a few coats of shellac which is food/skin safe. They are strongly affixed to hypoallergenic titanium posts (nickel-free and lead-free). These are only available in 10mm (3/8 in) due to the large size of the stripes, thickness: 1mm to 2.5mm.
