I've hand knit and felted this set of heavy duty oven mitts in beautiful espresso brown, golden brown, olive green moss green, grass green, citrine yellow/green, with a touch turquoise blue - simply gorgeous. My oven mitts are meant to have a closer fit than commercially made mitts and fit a variety of hand sizes. They offer a universal fit - you can use either hand as the thumb is centered on the palm. The thumb is nice and deep to grab large items from the oven. Measures approximately: 9 3/4" (27 cm) long, 4 3/4" (13.3 cm) wide, thumb is 3" (7.6 cm) tall, wool is 1/4" (.6 cm) thick. Easy to clean: soak in a bowl of warm water with mild soap, rinse, press between towels to remove excess water, lay flat and air dry. DO NOT WASH IN THE WASHING MACHINE.
