This is a 4-layer hair bow. Side: Please indicate if the bow will be worn on the right or the left side of the child's head. Why? The Jack-O-Lantern button will be upside down if you put your child's hair back to one side and you order the wrong side. If you are simply wearing the bow above a ponytail, then the side doesn't matter. If you pull her hair back to HER right, then you need a right bow, etc. The bow measures approximately 4 to 4.5 inches wide. It can be mounted on a large (3") french barrette OR a partially lined alligator clip. All my bows are heat sealed for NO FRAYING! All items come from a smoke-free home.
