Each earring was made with an origami folded paper fan, paired with different color glass beads dangled from a shepherds-hook with ball end ear-wire. The length of the earring from the top of the ear-wire to the bottom of the earring is about 1.75″. The width of the fan is about 1.13″. Very lightweight. The origami fans were sealed with several coats of sealer and non-yellowing satin varnish to add durability and protect them from moisture. But they are not waterproof, so do not submerge the earrings in water, or wear them to go swimming or taking showers.
