Each earring was made with an origami paper folded rooster from chiyogami Japanese paper, hanging on fishhook ear wire. Length of the earrings from the top of the ear-wire to the bottom of the rooster is 2", the width is 1". Very lightweight. The origami roosters were sealed with several coats of sealer and non-yellowing satin varnish to add durability and protect them from moisture. But they are not waterproof, so do not submerge the earrings in water, or wear them to go swimming or taking showers. Unique gift for any chicken lover, backyard chicken keeper.
