I love to experiment with different yarns, and knitting and crochet techniques, and this stole is no exception! Another one of a kind knitted piece you definitely won't find anywhere else. Knit and crocheted in various yarns consisting of wool, acrylic, metallic, and novelty fibers in a variety of weights and thicknesses, it is truly another piece of wearable fiber art! The experimentation that went into creating this piece is over the top. Again, I just went with the flow of what felt right to knit together.This is one of the softest garments I've ever created, too. The body of the stole is made up of a brown boucle, acrylic yarn, striped with soft, puffy clouds of mauves and lilacs, in addition to spurts of bronze metallic yarn. Knitted dropped stitches create a web effect in various places. The middle section has seven knitted baubles, giving the stole a textured effect. More bands of color in both stockinette and purl knitting create additional variety and texture. A wide band of black marled and bronze metallic ribbing, with a burnt orange wool tweed crocheted picot accent edges one side. The other side is made up of another wide band, this time, a blue and black marled ruched edge. Capping it off are eleven tassels, and two red pom-poms on one of the short edges. Truly a unique, enigmatic fiber art piece! Hand wash cold with non-abrasive detergent only. Do not bleach. Do not wring. Lay flat to dry. 82" Length including tassels; 20" wide
