Hand Knitted Tri-Colored, Geometric, Ripple, Chevron, Long, Heirloom Quality, Statement Piece Shawl, Stole, with Black Crocheted Edging
This stole is luxuriously soft, and lovingly knitted with a wool blend of yarns purchased while in Ireland. Each color--olive green, chestnut brown tweed, and greyish white tweed--represents the colors of the Wicklow mountains. This oversized piece was inspired by my visit to Ireland in late winter and the colors of the landscape, specifically, County Wicklow. Added details include black crocheted edging on the long sides and dotted tips sewn at each chevron point to bring the garment together. The drape and coverage of this is incredible, with many hours devoted to knitting this piece with care. Layer it over casual wear, or define your waistline with a belt. It would look fantastic with a pair of jeans, a turtleneck, and knee-high boots also. The styling possibilities are endless. Whoever is lucky to have this piece will also be getting a bit of Ireland with it. Truly a one of a kind heirloom knit to pass down. Wool/Acrylic blend. Hand wash cold with non-abrasive detergent only. Do not bleach. Do not wring. Lay flat to dry. Length=74"; Width=23"
