Bee-atrice is approximately 22" tall. She can either be shelf-sitting or a wall hanging home accent. The fabric bee is made from tea-dyed muslin, hand painted with traditional markings - then spattered with paint for character. Her bloomers and slip are made from tea-dyed muslin with vintage lace edging on the slip. Her dress and underskirt are made from complimentary 100% cotton fabric. The apron is muslin decorated with hand-painted flower stems and buttons. Her necklace and eyes are handmade from clay with a painted tooth pick nose. She has a flower in her jute hair with wire antennae. Her wings are made from craft paper. Buttons are placed at the side of her dress and on her collar. A braided loop of cotton linen twine is secured at the base of her neck for hanging - if desired. Bee-atrice is a wonderful addition to any home, or as a housewarming gift.
