These handmade fairy wing earrings are truly lovely and the shimmery color changing effect can't be accurately captured in the photos or the video. I create my wings by a process of layering thin heat bondable film, embossing powder and glue and then imprinting them. I have painted them in layers of fine glitter paint and then added a finish coating of resin to preserve the integrity of the colors and the structure. It is quite a process which took a lot of trial and error! The wings are very lightweight, slightly translucent, and slightly flexible (but please do not bend). The color of this pair is multicolored with a lot of teals and blues/greens and the colors change with the lighting. The ear hooks are stainless steel. They measure approximately 3 inches long. Due to the nature of the heat bondable film used in the wings, these are NOT waterproof or heat proof. Please take care when putting away to keep the wings from becoming damaged. Store in a dark area away from sunlight when not wearing to preserve the integrity of the colors.
