This whimsical patriotic watermelon parade float is made from muslin that has been painted and stained. The seeds are made from embroidery floss. The three mice are made from tea dyed flannel. The eyes and nose are clay - with sisal rope for whiskers - with a rusty tin wire tail . Each mouse has a patriotic neck muffler made from cotton fabric. The "United We Stand" banner is hand embroidered on tea-dyed muslin and mounted on a rusty wire pole. The mice are secured on the watermelon and surrounded by moss and floral. The watermelon is mounted on two vintage wooden spools with a jute rope secured to the front spool to resemble a pull toy. The display is 10 " in length , 9" in height and approximately 2" wide. This is NOT a pull toy - just a display! It is NOT a toy - it DOES NOT ROLL! DISPLAY ONLY!! This float is for display ONLY - IT IS NOT A TOY! The design is courtesy of Kentucky Primitives.
