I start by milling one solid piece of hard maple and one piece of purple heart. This ensures the best color matching and grain patterns. Once the entire table is built, a semi-gloss waterproof finish is applied over a varnish oil. Finally, the 2 removable bowls are added (and included in the price). The table is 8 1/2 inches tall. No stains or artificial colors are used in any of my projects. Colors and grain patterns can vary slightly from images. I do have a couple variations premade, but these are typically made-to-order.
