This ceramic handmade slotted spoon is wonderful for straining a teabag or lifting olives out of juice. It's a miniature colander that is very colorful and fun and would make a great add-on gift with a box of tea or jar of olives. A cute kitchen food prep item. And works great for lifting a teabag out of your teacup. This spoon is approximately 7" long and around 2" across....it will hold three to six medium olives. I hand made these spoons which features a rolled handle attached securely to the bowl of the spoon which is incised with lots of small holes to allow liquid to drain through. I recommend hand washing since something this small can easily get crushed or bumped in the dishwasher. Choose the color you wish from my selection of: robin's egg blue, navy blue, yellow, red, periwinkle purple, olive green, peach/pumpkin spice , spring green, white. If I have the slotted spoon in stock, it will go right out. If not, I'll make one for you in the color you want. And if you wish more than one, simply increase the quantity at check out. Please note that in order for the spoons to be glazed on all sides and not stick to the kiln shelf, they are placed on stilts so the back sides will have small dots or pinholes where the spoon rested on the prong.
