These beautiful table runners are made by our artisans in Ayacucho, a small town located in the south central Andes. The city is home to many world-renowned patterns, creating embroidery inspired by the wild flowers that grow in the mountains. The runners are made from wool that is hand-dyed with locally grown plants and minerals, producing a multitude of vibrant colors. This table runner is woven with sheep's wool, as can be seen in the images, embroidered multicolored flowers and birds dyed with natural plants, a work of art with ancestral techniques.
