Honey Bee Soap
I have always been an admirer of the honeybee. I used to watch them collect nectar from the flowers around my house as a child. Bees are so important for gardening, farming and all of our survival. This year's Bee Soap I made my first honey soap! I used a lovely locally sourced honey from my small town in Wisconsin and the background color is the natural color of the honey. These bars are full of goodness from the extra virgin coconut oil, unrefined shea butter, organic sunflower, castor and rice bran oils. The little bees' black stripes are naturally colored with activated charcoal and the yellow stripes are colored lightly from turmeric. Their scent is my favorite blend ever called Bliss, which is: rose, geranium, jasmine, clary sage, lavender and vetiver essential oils.
