Indian Feather Maiden Chainsaw Carving by Robert Waits She is approx. 42.5” tall She was carved out of a piece of fallen alligator juniper from here in Arizona. Alligator juniper naturally has beautiful red and yellow wood grains and knots, which have been kept natural with just a few hand painted details. Robert carved the majority of her with a chainsaw, and actually tapped and chiseled her jewelry and beadwork by hand afterwards. She has been a showpiece in a gallery, and is now currently for sale.
