BREWING COFFEE To brew coffee with the pour over system, first bring at least 6 ounces of water to a boil and pour over the filter (in the glass funnel) to pre-wet the filter. Make sure you have a coffee cup/mug under the funnel on the cup/mug base. Discard the water in the cup/mug after wetting the filter. Place the coffee grounds in the filter. Pour about 6 ounces of water over the coffee slowly using a spoon to make sure the grounds are wet and in solution.
