Hand forged from reclaimed 1/8" thick solid iron, these rustic hand hammered dishes are a perfect 6th anniversary gift for him or her. Each dish is hammered by hand, then sealed with beeswax and linseed oil to prevent corrosion. personalized message is optional and does not come standard. If you'd like a message stamped into the piece please type your message in the personalization section. Options are: all numbers and letters, infinity, 6 tally marks, heart, & + PLEASE READ: Items are hand made using traditional blacksmithing techniques, therefore no two are exactly the same. Small variations in dimensions and shape may be present in each piece. Items may vary from photos slightly. BRUSHED FINISH: This finish is a rustic, forged steel finish. It is not a high shine, clean factory gloss kind of look. If you are looking for shiny steel pulls this finish is not for you. some forge scale will be present. After wire brushing, I add a coat of blended linseed oil and beeswax which provides a natural barrier to help prevent corrosion and bring out the natural beauty of the hand worked metal. (Not recommended for outdoor use.) OIL BLACKENED FINISH: This satin black finish has touches of grey, and allows the texture and forge work in the steel to come through. Our process penetrates into the metal and provides a durable finish. Salt spray tested.
