This is an original 6x8 plein air (painted on site) oil painting. I hiked out onto the Appalachian Trail here in New Jersey, to Parker Lake, on an early Spring day, carrying my paints in a backpack and painted this in one sitting. I listened to the sound of water falling over a beaver dam and the spring peeper frogs in the background as I painted this on a cool and breezy March day. Oil on canvas board, frame included with metal hanger kit and 3M Command Velcro strips and instructions included.
