The large crosses are roughly 4 1/2 inches long counting the bail wire. They are about 2 3/4 inches wide. They have a heavy hammered outer wire with fine yellow-gold and copper wires intertwined in the middle of the cross. Both sides are presentable so it is reversible. The outer copper frame is hammered to harden it into the cross shape. Delicate smaller gauge copper and silver colored wires are then wrapped to fill in the cross shape.
