All of our coasters are handcrafted from Wickett & Craig Harness Leather. This leather is intended to be used for horse tack and stands up well to exposure to the elements such as a sweating glass. Full hides are purchased and a 4” round die is used to cut the coasters out using a 1 1/4 ton hand press. That same press is them used to imprint the design that has been made into a brass stamp. This design was a collaboration with Alison Emery, an Indy-based artist.
