DOORMATS: They are made of 100% natural coir and are great for preventing dirt and mud from tracking inside your home. Each mat is hand-painted with all-weather paint and sealed with a UV sealant. They are approximately .5 inch thick and 18 x 30 in size. All mats are backed with a slip-resistant backing. CARE: You must keep your mat as dry as possible to avoid darkening of the fibers. To clean, simply give it a good shake! The coir material does shed but the shedding is caught in the mat - it does not track inside of your home. Shake it or vacuum it every few weeks to keep clean. We recommend using the coir doormat in covered areas where they will stay dry from the elements. Decorative mats are not meant for heavy use.
