This is a maple jewelry box with walnut legs. The lid is a handmade inlay surrounded by walnut boarder. Everything was handmade by myself in our shop. I have sanded everything down to 600 grit and then finished with my own mixture of oils and varnish. Then waxed to give it that extra silky feel. You can follow the grain around the sides of the box. It was all made from 1 piece of maple. It is really a beautiful piece of art, and would look great sitting on anyone's dresser. Overall it is 10 3/4" x 6 1/4" x 7" tall. The inside measures 8 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" deep. There is no Chinese hardware. All the wood was cut and milled nearby
