Medium-sized solid copper barrette with a genuine 'Made in France' stainless steel clip. Each barrette is handcrafted. First, the pattern is impressed on the copper in a rolling mill, then the shape is hand-cut and the edges smoothed. The french clip is securely hand riveted in place with brass wire-no glue to fail!! The barrette has been coated with wax, but over time a beautiful patina will develop. Each hair barrette is handcrafted and the design placement may vary. Patterned top measures approximately 2 15/16" x 7/8". Clip measures 70mm long with an approximate opening of 2". This is a MEDIUM barrette and best suited for fine-hair ponytails or styles that hold back just a portion of your hair. See photos for scale.
