This is an original acrylic painting made by me, Sierra Miller. The painting is of a bunch of fun mushrooms with a very pretty blue underneath them and gorgeous iridescent heads. Their stocks a pale beige with pearl stroked on top. The background consists of many layers of blues and a glittery finish to make it look as if the mushrooms are dancing in the midnight sky. This painting is on an 8" x 16" stretched canvas. When I first saw this canvas I knew right away I wanted to paint mushrooms on it. I felt it was the perfect size for it. So I started by sketchy out where I wanted to put each mushie. I then started on the first few layers of the background. Taking turns with different blues. Once I was pretty much satisfied, I then painted each mushroom white so that it was easier to layer on the iridescent paint. Once I was finished with the mushrooms, I then added glitter to some mod podge and decorated the sky. I really wanted to make sure that the mushrooms really popped. This painting is perfect for those people who really love mushrooms like me. It's such a great size to hang literally anywhere! Doesn't take up much wall space at all. All my stuff is my own design!
