Fish are prominent in folklore and mythology from around the world. In many cultures, including African, European pagan, and East Indian, fish are associated with fertility and creation. In Christianity, they symbolize faith and abundance. In Buddhism, fish is one of the eight sacred symbols, bringing happiness and freedom. The Celtic salmon imparts wisdom and prophesy. Flat pewter fish is 7/8" (22mm) with incised tribal motifs. Big pretty hoops are made from mint green and pink vintage wood and iridescent purple glass beads in a very retro 1970s style. Hoop diameter is 2" (50mm) across. The top bead is a 18x14mm foil glass, clear with an iridescent emerald-green foil center and white swirls on the outside.
