I prep the wood before burning, apply heat and some love, and boom! you've got a striking tray you will love forever. This versatile item may be used anywhere in the house, as a storage/display piece or even in the kitchen. The polyurethane coat finishing coat is FOOD SAFE and will protect your tray from scratches and water damage. Measurements: ~8 x 5 inches, just under 1 inch tall. Kitchen use: If you intend to use this more regularly as a cutting board and not a cheese or display board I would suggest a different finish. The poly coat will hold up very well to occasional knife use but not to every day wear. This tray should be cleaned as needed with hot, soapy water and dried immediately with a clean cloth. To prevent fading, do not store in direct sunlight. Not safe for dishwasher or microwave.
