Upcycled 8.5-inch-tall wood birdhouse has a grooved roof to resemble layered shingles, as well as a thick loop cord on the top for a hook display. This decorative birdhouse is hand decoupaged with designer paper napkins showing an amazing forest floor scene to include mushrooms, ferns, moss, birds, and bees. It is also hand painted with our unique color mixture of "MOSS GREEN" to highlight the lovely classic blue and white designs. WHAT IS DÉCOUPAGE? Decoupage is the art or technique of decorating surfaces by applying shapes or illustrations cut from various forms of paper. OUR DECOUPAGE TECHNIQUE: carefully place delicate single ply of a paper napkin over brushed-on decoupage glue on upcycled home and gardening decor pieces. Decoupaged and painted surfaces are completely covered with a clear coat of water-based polyurethane to help protect and preserve all materials from the effects of moisture. DECORATIVE DECOUPAGE BIRDHOUSES ARE RECOMMENDED FOR INDOOR ENJOYMENT. If used outside, exterior surfaces may need to be recoated with polyurethane for extended protection against outdoor elements.
