The colors go on darker the first time you apply them and after the first wash they lighten just a bit and then stay consistent from then on. Fit: I am wearing a medium in the photo. I am 5'7" and 145lbs. I usually wear a medium and I love the fit. They are 100% cotton and will shrink a little if dried. Care: We recommend hang drying, but full disclosure, I dry mine on low and haven't had have any problems.
