We hand weave these trivets from 1/4" hard laid cotton. The 16 feet is carefully knotted before seized with cotton cord. These are a bit narrower than a standard trivet, so works well in pairs for a cookie sheet or use it with your smaller serving dishes. Some people pair these 4" x 8" trivets with our round turks head trivets for a nicely decorated table. This 100% cotton rope is hand washable and press flat to dry on a clean towl.
