Original abstract acrylic painting 8x10 titled “La Matriz” (the womb). Sometimes when i paint an abstract painting,I don't have a particular vision or theme in mind, I just let the colors and my brush guide me. Many times, after I'm done, either I will see something or someone else will point something unexpected they see in the painting. In this one, I saw a pregnant mother sitting cross legged - possibly giving birth. Hence the name, La Matriz, which is the womb in Spanish.
