On a vacation to Hawaii, I enjoyed looking for sea turtles in the ocean. It was fun to see them floating along on the waves coming into the beach. It inspired me to use those sea water colors to create an abstract background on a Yupo paper (a super smooth paper actually made from plastic pellets) that allowed the paints to swirl and blend. Once that dried, I picked out a sea turtle from the design. It's a fun, abstract piece of original art that measures 12" wide by 9" tall when unframed. If you choose to have me mat and frame it for you, the size will be around 15" x 18".
