Each earring was made with an origami folded paper puppy made from a Chiyogami Japanese paper with wine, honey, sage green and navy floral print, hanging from a delicate antique brass colored chain on fish hook ear-wire. The length of the earring from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the of the puppy is about 2″. The width of the puppy is about 1″. The origami puppies were sealed with several coats of sealer and non-yellowing varnish to add durability and protect them from moisture. But they are not waterproof, so do not submerge the earrings in water, or wear them to go swimming or taking showers.
