Pink Amaryllis Flower Painting
This watercolor painting of a few pink amaryllis flowers that bloomed during the past holiday will add serenity and interest wherever you place it. I love this bulb plant because of its beauty and also because you can almost see it grow. Once the bulb sprouts, it seems to add an inch or more of height every day. And the flowers last for weeks. This one kept on reblooming once the first flowers faded away. Plants of the genus Amaryllis are known as belladonna lily, Jersey lily, naked lady, amarillo, Easter lily in Southern Australia or, in South Africa, March lily due to its propensity to flower around March. I painted this using artist quality watercolor pigments on Arches archival watercolor paper. You can have me ship it to you completely framed and ready to hang on your home or office wall, or use the drop down menu to have it shipped unframed so you can take it to your local frame shop for mounting. ** TITLE: Pink Amaryllis ** SIZE: 9" x 12" image; matted and framed size is 14" x 17" approximately This is an ORIGINAL one-of-a-kind watercolor painting, not a print. ** COPYRIGHT: All rights to my images remain the property of the artist.
