Plague Doctor Mask Midsommar

Product Description

Not just a lovely pagan celebration, but also a really very creepy and unsettling movie, Midsommar is one of our favorites. The natural, vibrant colors of spring in the Swedish mountains is juxtaposed by the stark white and blue handmade clothing patterns and gorgeous but gruesome deaths used in the A24 movie of the same title. This mask includes the symbols for Dani, Simon, the leaders of the village and from the buildings and clothing found throughout the film's bloody romp through a rural hometown's fabled Swedish mid-summer festival. A tear drop of blood to remind us of the brutal nature of this horror movie sleeper hit and our version of Dani's final May Queen crown of flowers to bring a grandiose height and weight to this hauntingly beautiful mask. This mask is heavy, wearing it should be done with care and we will include extra ties to use in order to keep the top of the mask pulled back on your head. There are hundreds of fabric flowers, all hand applies to this stunning plague doctor mask. The painting is also done by hand and the bloody tear drop is made from our own special bloody resin mix. Wearable art plague doctor mask: This handmade mask starts with sheets of eva foam and takes on a life from there. The forms are hand cut and handmade, every unique sculpture and decoration created (like the clay mushrooms, and woodgrain) by or sourced (like the crystals and natural elements such as moss) by us.
