This cuddly and adorable plush bear is very special- it's handwoven out of yarn that incorporates recycled blue jeans! The yarn this cute stuffed bear is made from started as old jeans which were broken down and then spun into fresh yarn. This soft bear is made entirely from scratch, from weaving the fabric on a weaving loom, to sewing it together, and to applying the jaunty bowtie. Bear is woven from purple and pink 95% cotton (62-75% recycled), 5% other fiber, stuffed with polyester fiberfill, and adorned with a bowtie made of cotton quilting fabric and elastic. The bowtie is removeable! He is a darling 8 inches (20 cm) tall, which makes him a great size for sitting on a desk or shelf, but is plenty big enough to squish and hug. While adorable, this animal is not meant for very young children, due to the plastic eyes.
