This olive oil or vinegar cruet in shades of pale blue and navy blue will add class and elegance to your dinner table, and is pretty enough to just leave out on a counter top. I created this decanter on my pottery wheel, adding a little loop to the shoulder for interest and a place to hold it while pouring. While the clay was soft, I slip-trailed a design on the bottle. Slip trailing is like icing a cake with a piping bag. This cruet comes with the stainless steel pour spout that allows just the right amount of oil, vinegar, wine or other liquid to be dispensed. The little flapper cap on the top open when the ewer is tilted, and it closes once the bottle is set upright. This listing is for the exact cruet in the video and first photos, but , I have several more of these in different designs and colors in the shop. It measures 7" high (8.5" with the dispenser inserted in the top) and 3.5" wide. It holds around 20 ounces. And if you prefer to use this for other home or office decor, this bottle makes a great flower vase, too.
