Gertie is made from muslin which has been painted with a primitive finish. Her bottom is weighted which will enable her to stand almost anywhere. She has a needle sculpted nose, bead eyes and a bewitching smile. Her apron is made from off white tulle and has been tied around her back with crochet cotton. She is so proud of her orange pumpkin, which she has just "borrowed" from her neighbor, the sorcerer. :) She just loves her stiffened fabric hat, which protects her pale skin from the sun.
