Print of my original painting of Colorado Blue Columbine and Aspen Tree
This original painting of an aspen tree and Colorado blue columbine flowers sold recently, but is now available as a print on your choice of watercolor paper or canvas. This composition features one of my very favorite flowers - the Colorado Blue Columbine and one of my favorite trees - the Quaking Aspen, a member of the birch or poplar family. I see these gorgeous flowers on hikes through the forests near my home in Colorado and am always enchanted with their delicate color and beauty. From the Latin 'Columba' for dove, this beautiful flower was discovered on Pike's Peak here in Colorado in 1820 and is our state flower. You may have this print sent to you in a variety of sizes....use the drop down menu to make your choice.
