This wheel thrown planter is made with white Cybil clay and glazed with two specialty glazes creating a unique blend of blue and purple. The inside of the planter is glazed with a clear glaze mainly and a light coating of purple on the bottom. I took photos of this piece in different light conditions; the glazes really come to life in (sun)light. Each piece is individually designed and handmade so every piece is a one of a kind and unique. The piece you are purchasing is the exact same planter as in the pictures. Because of the nature of handmade pottery, imperfections are possible in each piece. The bottom of the piece is left unglazed.
