Queen honeybee wet specimen suspended in hand sanitizer | honey bee | great for bee lovers, display
This is a queen honeybee (Apis mellifera) that I received from my dad, a commercial beekeeper. The queen was ethically taken and preserved for viewing. Beekeepers pull queens when they can no longer lay fertilized eggs and replace them with new queens to keep the hive from dying. There is only one queen bee per hive. These queens can be used as is, for display or be taken out and dried out and used for arts, crafts, or as an insect display for learning, keep in mind the queens abdomen is much larger and will shrink more if used dry. each purchase helps save the bees and profits go back into creating healthy hives. The bee is in perfect condition and has no defects Shipping outside of the United States will need to be shipped without hand sanitizer and you will need to refill the jar, you will receive a dry specimen
