Inside contains a special smaller tray to put the bird seed in. Great for feeding the small birds without worrying about the big birds or squirrels eating all the seed. To fill, simply pour the seed through the top! Feeder is pre-drilled for both 3.5" and 5.5" rails! Rail feeders are intended to be placed on a flat railing.
