This item was made from a combination of old and new wood. Some of the wood comes from Iowa and South Dakota barns and various other buildings. This piece also includes scrap wood from a cabinetry shop that otherwise was off to the landfill. It combines form and function as a coat rack that is pleasing to look at. It measures 20" x 9" x 1 1/2". The entire piece weighs about 5 pounds.
